Enel Green Power invites South African students to apply for Bursary Programme 2024

Bursary Application Closing date is 12 January 2024

Enel Green Power, in partnership with Dalitso Holdings, is offering bursaries for tertiary studies across ANY field and for high school studies from Grade 8 to Matric. The initiative is focused on underprivileged youth residing within the company’s operational community in Northern Cape, Western Cape, and Free State.

Bursary Details:

  • Available Bursaries: High School and Tertiary
  • Expense Coverage: Varies based on the bursary type:
    • High School Bursary: School fees, stationary, textbooks, uniforms, and transport costs
    • Tertiary Bursary: Tuition, registration, learning materials, textbook and meal allowances, travel, examination fees, and university accommodation
  • Selection Process: Interviews may be conducted by Enel Green Power South Africa and Dalitso Holdings

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Citizenship: South African
  • Residence: Within 50km of Enel Sites (specific locations mentioned)
  • High School Bursary: Grade 7 to Grade 11 students progressing to the next year in 2024
  • Tertiary Bursary: Matric students in 2023 accepted for university in 2024 OR current Matric students
  • Academic: Minimum overall average of 65%
  • Income: Household income less than R357,000 per annum
  • Disability: Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply

  • Supporting Documentation: Clear copies of essential documents (ID, academic records, proof of acceptance, proof of residence, income proof, medical certificate if applicable, and educational official testimonial)
